I think I would follow the wishes of the person who died. My Mother wanted to be cremated so that's what we did. My grandparents wanted to be buried side by side so that is what we did. Now they are sending bits of people's ashes into space. There is also the Neptune society that cremates and sprinkle the ashes into the sea.
I just would hate to feel wierd about going against the wishes of the person who died.. if they wanted to be cremated and I buried them instead that would be messed up

There's always some clown needing to make that extra buck off death and in a way I can really admire that.
Except with a death diamond the dead person is literally attached to another person until the ring wearer dies, gets too fat to wear the ring, or the damn thing slinks down the pipe into the sink.
I think a more practical approach is to use the ashes as seasoning for food (make a mean spicy curry). That way the person keeps becoming part of you ... over and over and over (until each time you poop them out). I guess.

I think i would like that that way you could pass it down for generations and unlike the ashes in a jar you dont have to worry about someone dropin the jar and spillin the ashes. Say you have a ring, watch or some other peice of jewelry that your gradma or parents gave to you you could get the stone put in it and just keep it. but i would want to see the process so that i know it was the ashes being used and not them just takeing peoples ashes and giving back a rhinestone trying to rip people off. and what about the size, like how much would a person have to weigh to get a nice size stone

Your question is such as the on-going conflict between "salvation" and "works" that's what separates a brilliant many sects of Christianity. yet what separates "believers" from "non-believers" so a techniques as shifting into Heaven is that BELIEVERS sense that they have EARNED it and does no longer want to proportion it with somebody who did no longer. which you would be able to respond to your question it is that "earning" heaven the two with the aid of works, salvation, or the two that makes Heaven an unique club for believers. what's the component in having religions if everyone can get into the rustic club?

it doesn't matter. if it costs money then i would prefer not to. death is usually a touchy subject. i just think that we should come out of the barn on religion. religion is good, but we could mix it with technology and have something more. nowadays, people are just finding that you can open your mind and have pizza with anchovies, pickles and lettuce. it is your choice. i just don't think that it is interesting at all if you do something extraordinary at death.

Well for one, it's quite expensive isn't it? and I'd only even think about doing it for a person if thats what they absolutely wanted. I might consider it for a pet though, although.. I doubt I would in either case.

i'd turn him/her into a diamond, not to wear as jewelry, but to show how precious they were. i would more likely put it in a glass case and keep it put away somewhere..
