1970 in Mexico was the first color broadcast of the World Cup

Now in 2006 in Germany you can also follow the World Cup by Internet as well as most people, by radio and television

Yes. It has been Broadcast since the 50's I believe. The onset of TV broadcast was not until 60-70s
