if the Mississippi river levee is built 20ft high and every year La. gets more water every year?

from its sources. we suffer and are considered to be below sea level because of this we must build our levees even higher so the rest of the area (other )states won't flood ? do you think this is fair?

The higher you go with levee, it will collece more sediments and sand sits on the bottom, raising the bottom level. That will eventually be disaster. The best thing is dig deeper in to the ground.

If you study the earth science you will know that levees are harmful for the long term.
