I am amazed the number of people that really think that anybody can negotiate with terrorists! Wake up, people! Stop bashing President Bush! It has been proven over and over and over, you cannot talk to these fanatics! This problem with Israel/Lebanon is NOT Israel's fault! This is an obvious 'strategic' move by the terrorists to destroy Israel and the Jewish people - the leader of Iran already stated a couple of months back that this is his goal. What is it you don't get?!

I agree with you. Obviously some Palestines have been mistreated but by far more have been mistreated by other Palestinians than by Israelis.
The country of Israel exists. The country of Palestine does not and never has, and probably will never exist because they cannot assume responsibility for their own wellfare and depend on the rest of the world for survival let alone nationhood. All they can do is whine about the Israelis and kill Israelis and get killed in return.
The Palestinians don't have much of a future as long as it is controlled by two terrorists organizations. Don't negotiate with killers as that only encourages them. Those who bash Bush are simply agents of the terrorists.

Well, let's admit: Bush is just as fanatic. A legitimate government might not want to negotiate with terrorists, but terrorists want to reach a point at which the government at hand will not have any other option than to engage them in a negotiating process. Whether we like it or not, Hamas was democratically elected in Palestine, and Hezbolla holds some seats in the Lebanese parliament because of the results of democratic processes.
