There's never any mention of if Kagome's father had died or has left the family. Shippo's father was killed by the Thunder Brothers and again , there is no mention of his mother. Miroku's father was swallowed up by his Kazana or wind tunnel. He was then raised by Mushin, a monk friend of the family. Again , there is no mention of Miroku's mother or if there were any other members of his family. Hope this helps.

Kagome's father is never in the series, so it is unknown as to what happened to him. I think he might have died when Kagome was younger.
Shippou's mother is mentioned only once, but never shown. I think Shippou said she was killed by the Thunder Brothers, Hinten and Manten. Shippou's father is killed by them as well.
Miroku's mother is never mentioned, but his father was sucked into his own kazaana when Miroku was about five or six years old. The monk guy (I can never remember his name) took care of and raised Miroku from then on.

i think kagome's father died and i know shippo's and miroku's fathers died, but i don't know about there mothers.

i don't know about the rest but shippo's dad was killed by the thunder brothers, not sure if that is their actual name but they were demon guys with thunder powers and one would shippo's father around his waist

I think Miroku's father died cus of his (the father's) wind tunnel...
