Many ways to Shenzhen. If you have the time to spare (but Singaporeans never have the time lah), you can either drive up, ride a bike up or go by sea. You can do a combination of flying and bus. And if you really really have a lot of time on hand, then go the healthy way - walk. Flying is the easiest and fastest option though.

You can check www.priceline.com for possible fares for direct flight to Shenzhen. Or fly into Hong Kong and cross over by bus or train.

For the easiest way, fly SilkAir (subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) from Singapore to Shenzhen. Other way is to fly Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines to Hong Kong SAR and catch an express train, bus, or ferry there. Flying to Macau SAR and transfer to a ferry.
Well, for me I will fly SilkAir instead because it takes less time and also, flying with Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific is more expensive.
For SilkAir website: http://www.silkair.com
For Cathay Pacific website: http://www.cathaypacific.com
For Singapore Airlines wesbite: http://www.singaporeair.com
