Not really. I think we look the same as we think we do, but it is ther perceptions of people that have become twisted.
In todays spartan society, if you dont have perfect teeth, a good tan, 3% body fat etc... then people feel that you dont belong.
Ironic isnt it? In this day and age of acceptance of all religions, sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds and so forth that people still cant accept someone that is overweight, short, has crooked teeth or some other thing that they cant (or cant afford) to get resolved.
They are the ones I pity. Not the person with a little extra meat on them or without perfect teeth.

No, it really mean, don't judge a book by it's cover. MEANING: Never take anyone at face value until you REALLY get to know them. And even then....watch out! Just ask me about my ex-husband. Looks were DEFINETLY deceiving....but it took me six years to figure THAT out!

That is a bit surreal. What if you were visually impaired and truly couldn't compare what you perceive with what is "real". That's too much contemplation-my brain hurts.

Don't think so...I've always known what I look like and I'm fine with that...if others have a problem, too bad for them.
