Three guitar gods. Who is the best?!
There are three catigorys you have to answer. Each one has a different winner. Catigorys are:
Solos
Diversity (in there music; or how different each song is)
Spirtuallty/Lifestyle( I know its weird but try it)
Each catigory has a different winner. I will make an example with my pick: Solos: Jimmy Page, Diversity: Jimmy Page, Spirtuallity: Jimmi Hendrex (cause his lifstyle was kinda bad). Also state why!

As much as I admire Hendrix's music, I can't put on the same level as Eric Clapton because his body of work is so much smaller. He was great, but because he died fairly young, we'll never know what more he could have done.
Jimmy Page is a better guitarist that most people know. Everyone knows about Led Zepplin, but he has done studio work for some the best known bands. Quite often, it was uncredited. Example: "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Still, he hasn't been as productive as you-know-who.
That leaves me with Eric Clapton who has succeeded at Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Pop. His broad, excellent, and lengthy body of work along with his studious devotion to the guitar and its history in modern music make him the best.
