It's duct tape - not "duck tape" - but I had a doctor suggest that to me and it is reducing the two I have on my fingers. I tried Compound W, but it did not prove effective and was somewhat messy; it also gets gummy in the bottle/tube if it gets too much air. Duct tape is cheap and it sticks well; just keep replacing it when the present piece wears out.

A plantars wart just means it is on the bottom of the foot, the plantar part just means location. You can try over the counter products which can take forever or a dermatologist can treatn those quite easily for you.

Mine went away after I had chicken pox. That's not a practical solution.

If it's not too deep, your podiatrist can freeze it off, both my sons had them removed that way. Mine were pretty bad, and had to be cut out.
