Great engineer who worked on one of the best albums made, "Dark Side of the Moon". He decided to become a producer and formed his own production company to produce recordings. He called it "The Alan Parsons Project". This is not a group that performs live. Strictly a recording endeavor. Alan will hire musicians and songwriters to fulfill his goal. He has produced maybe a dozen albums but has also released a dozen "Greatest Hits" compilations. His work has a beautiful sound but not quite any memorable songs. My favorite though is "Don't Let It Show" from "I Robot". I see that he is still producing albums. I will buy his latest because I love his work.

GREAT music!! Odd that his (or the Alan Parsons Project) names haven't come up more often on this board..some people are missing out, if they haven't given the Project a try. My favorite albums, would have to be Eye in the Sky, I Robot and Pyramid.
