it was self induced according to history. however the interesting part is that apparently his girlfriend was either there with him in bed passed out or left him in bed passed out, i forget exactly how the story goes, and he choked on his own vomit. just another sad rock story. it's weird to think of all the other guys who should be dead, keith richards, eric clapton, guys that did just as many drugs as Jimi and lived to tell the tale.

the official death certificate says "Inhalation of vomit due to barbituate intoxication."
He took 9 sleeping pills and drank some wine and fell asleep.
His dumb german girlfriend was too afraid to call the police until it was too late because she was afraid of getting busted herself.
Then the ambulance crew strapped him to the gurney on his back.
What a waste. A terrible tragic loss of a beautiful man.

Sad to say that he killed himself. Its even sadder to think of the millions of people who are killing themselves by doing drugs. My question is : Is the few hours of being high worth it?

hey, Jimmy Hendrix was GOD to me... he kicked ass like no one else.. Society, man.. Society got him (well **** either that or he got all carried away w/pluckin' that electric steel guitar w/his teeth man.. ) lightin' **** on stage.. Life kinda sucks and rocks at the same time and Hendrix spoke it like no one else.. (****, don't lookit me.. I didn't do it! lmao)
