Metal removers are available at most pool stores. Use as directed, but don't be in a hurry to get results. Can take 4 to 6 weeks before you get any noticeable results. The stain has to be re-dissolved in the water then filtered out. Helps to keep pH on low side, say 7.2.

Any good hardware store will have rust stain remover..

You might also try muratic acid.. just put some on one spot and let it soak for about 15 miniutes.. If it works, go to a bigger area..

DO NOT GET IN THE EYES.. KEEP A GARDEN HOSE NEAR BY IN CASE YOU GET ANY ON YOU.

There is a stick of stain remover that you can purchase at a pool store - I can't remember what it's called... You rub in on the stain and it will lighten/remove it.

Get your wife to stop cleaning the soiled underwear on the plaster.

Sorry - had to do that.

The only 3 ways I know are:

1. Acid wash
2. Replaster
3. Plaster Paint.
