I don't know of a lot of black people who refer to themselves as 'colored' anymore.

They should probably rename it to the NAALBP (National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Black People), since it does not represent anything but that.

Seriously...have you researched the cost of changing NAACP? For starters...they'd have to change all their letterhead on stationery...their website....the list goes on and on.

Because they've already registered and/or copyrighted the name, everyone's familiar with it, they've spent tons of money on advertising and have letterhead with that name on it.
