i just finished my first year of high school. everyone thinks everyone really cares what you wear in high school and all that, but no one really does. some of the most "popular" people in hs never wore a cute outfit ever! but, that doesn't mean everyone shouldn't. wear a really cute pair of jeans from like hollister or AE and maybe a solid color top, like white with some really pretty jewelry. like a chunky bead necklace and bangles. but don't over do it. and remember: never wear a skirt your first day, way overdressing. so jeans 1st day, jeans 2nd day, skirt 3rd. look in seventeen magazine for some really cute ideas. OH and nobody has bookbags. get a shoulder bag. i bought a book bag and at the end of the week it was in the back of my closet and i was at the mall buying a tote bag. look at AE or old navy for one of those. hope i helped and have fun!! high schools a blast!!!

The best thing to wear on the first day of high school, is something that you are extremly comfortable but is still cute. dont try to look slutty unless that is the type of person that you want to be throughout your highschool years. because what people preseve you as as a freshman will stick with you untill you graduate. I would say stick to a nice skirt and a top, or jeans(capris or pants) that are comfortable and a cute top to go with that you are comfortable in. be yourself and no one else. is my best advise.

Only the other girls will notice what you wear and they will never be pleased. They will either be jealous, make fun of you, or ridicule you, or try to be like you while denying it.

Guys don't care or notice what you are wearing. You could wear it everyday for a week and they might not notice it. If you are trying to get a guy's attention, he will notice you as a slut, or a wholesome girl he wants to spend his life with. Guys are fickle, but they jump to conclusions about you based on who you are with, and what you act like. Even if you aren't a slut they will always think of you as one, if you dress and/or act like one.

If you want a one-night stand, go with the cheap tramp look. If you want to build up to finding the right guy, go with a look that really is "you".

first of all, make sure that the clothes you are going to wear go with the dress code. you dont want to be sent home or get a detention or sumting just because you wore something "skimpy" on the first day of school. otherwise, wear something light and something that will make a good first impression, like a cute mini, a tank top, and wedges, nothing too slutty or boring. and make sure that its all "you".

it depends which group of people you associate yourself with. There are social groups in high school, which you'll find out and if you don't fit in with any of them then just wear whatever. don't overdo it by wearing high heels or anything like that just to impress as it will most likely do the opposite. Just be yourself.

ok....what about...a blue jean skirt, any color short sleeve shirt, and a small jacket( u no the short ones?) and some flip flops with dangly ear-rings! OR..some jeans....with a tank top. loop ear- rings! and some flip flops! lol sorry i love fashion!
