Why do black men like white women better?

Seems all the famous basketball players and football players and even average black guys I grew up with always liked white women better why is that?

because they have a "colonized" mind. at least those that date/marry,or prefer white women over black women. everyone especially the black man who chooses to date inter-racially needs to understand that doing so is a conscious and symbolic rejection of black women.

we live in a society that was founded upon European values,traditions,and customs. it even sets the standard as to what is beautiful and what is not. since day one,white femininity was a prized possession. black women were placed at the bottom and therefore made to believe less desirable and feminine,(which i can assure is not the case). the reason why a black athlete or professional black man marries a white or non-black woman is b/c society has made him believe that his success is not complete until he has that white woman on his arm.

even if the white woman that he's chosen isn't really attractive as a sistah,he still believes that he has something that makes him equal to the white man.

with this said don't be fooled into thinking that "all" black men prefer white women. ask the black men and 9 times out of 10 they will tell you there is nothing more sensual than a black woman. black women can go to great lengths to show our love and that is something that the average brother won't object to.

black women and white men are more selective then white women and black men. On my street, there were 2 biracial couples. A white man/black woman with 2 kids and a black man/white woman with 4 kids. For a long time, the police were always at the bmww house breaking up a domestic dispute of some sort until he moved out. They weren't married by the way. But, the bwwm appear to have a loving and peaceful relationship (yes, they are married). In fact, last Christmas he bought her a sleek black BMW 750Li. It was parked in their driveway with a big red bow on the hood. In my opinion, good white men know how to love and take care of their women. Be they black or white.

As a black male, I can assure you that black men don't like white women "better". It's just that seeing black men with white women is noticed more often because we're used to seeing black men with black women. I can definately think of more black men with black women then with white women. Also, sometimes where I live, it's just hard to find a "good" black woman after all we are minorities and it's just not statistically possible that one's going to meet a black woman that has the qualities that one wants in a woman, so why discriminate, open the floor up to any "good" woman, it's all the same. But then again, white women are often times not as high maintenance and more willing to do things black women are not.

well I think that some of what your saying is true because you do see some black average men and foot ball players & basketball players with white women it's just stereotyping and i think it has something to do with self issues and thinking that if you get with this and that of a person they will be better which allot of times the relationship does not last !!! because it was not based on love it was based on what you thought was god!!!

Please do not portray yourself as an idiot. I doubt the 2 black dudes you know are the representation of the average black man. Esp. if they grew up around you. They are idiots to like white women better than the beauty of the woman that brought them into this world! Now nothing is wrong with appreciating the beauty of any and all women. But it annoys the hell out of me to read the words "liked white women better." Better than what? As if black women or women of color are some type of foreign alien species!

They do? This one is new to me- Its a lot of basketball and football players that are with black women, they just aren't shown- believe me. Also if you look at the stats black people intermarry each other more- then marrying outside their "race"- you can even look that one up. SO that means black men marry black women and vice versa- then outside their race a lot more often then interracially.

Maybe the past couple of days you seen one black and white couple, but somehow forgot about the 15 other black with black couples you past. People seem to do that a lot. Maybe it just b/c it sticks out in your mind, or gives you a stroke to ur ego- or both?

I think it is because even though beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. more white women are perceived to be docile and quiet.. whereas some black women are perceived to be loud and overbearing. It is also just a matter of different ideas of beauty.
