Yes but.... perhaps a better question would be to ask people why they think they are smart... that way if I think I'm smart cause I know what two plus two is - you can flush me out :)

well I find that you get more when you act dumb. I am smart but really dont like using my brains all the time. The ones at work -that dont know nothing, do nothing, and get treated better. S hit they cant even put paper in a copy machine.

I am knowledgeable about my particular fields of interest. That may be viewed as "smart" to someone who knows nothing about the subjects I do, by the same token it might be viewed as not so "smart" by someone with more knowledge of the subject/s.

My friend and I joke that i may have multiple intelligences, same way people have multiple personalities. This stems from the fact that i have a 4.0 GPA but i still giggle at words such as Upiass and Buun.

I am studious and intelligent, but I seem to have a problem making everyday decisions. To quote someone great: "You have a great brain in your head, so why can't you use it!" It makes me feel bad, 'cause afterwards I can see what a stupid thing I did.
