I'm against it. You wanna talk to your friends, try calling them, or you can write them a letter and help the economy by buying stamps.

im totally for myspace.
yes sexual preditors are there. but parents need to stop blaming myspace and start puting some blame on them and their child. i mean, if u dont teach ur child not to dress like sluts and lie about their age and go meet strangers, then maybe we wouldnt have this problem. dont get me wrong its sad that that happens but myspace isnt the main one to blame. they have put options for private profiles, and tom has posted warnings not to put personal info up if ur under 18. also! if myspace was to close down they would just go to other sites. the only reason myspace is in the spotlight more than other sites is becuz its so popular.
in all kids and parents need to take responcibility for their actions and quit blamming myspace. cuz i love myspace!!!

Against Myspace even though I'm a member.
Here's why:
People's themes are incredibly annoying and I can't even read their pages that they want me to read, so I just don't read them. The little floaty down things that you think are oh so cute, videos of crappy music playing automatically, poor color themes, backgrounds that make the text illegible.. wow people.
If not myspace teens will hook up with older people elsewhere, it's up to parents to keep an eye out for what their kids are doing on the computer.

I won't pass judgment on either of your scenarios, but it seems too cluttered and immature for me.
Predators are here and in 360 also.
Have been since beginning and will stay no matter what.
All Blog formats are great places for meeting kindred people and learning new things.
Myspace probably gets busted more because it is not a Big Powerful Company catering to and donating to Politicians.

Well, for the stupid people who are 13 and leave their myspace page open for ANYONE to look at it, no. But if your smart, and you make it so only your friends can see it then yes. Im for it.

I have a myspace account and love it
It doesn't matter if you are online or in a local park, if you let down your guard there will be some one there to take advantage.

if youre stupid and careless...youre going to get sexual predators trying to talk to you
if you know what youre doing by NOT giving out your personal information and adding everyone that comes by your way without checking them out 100%...then youll be ok and youll meet alot of new people...
