Do the paint on movie screens work well?

It depends on whether it is opaque or glossy paint. Opaque is better. Glossy creates a false false depth you don't want in your image. And the paint needs to be done evenly or that will messup your image too.

I have heard that they have hot spots. But I bet they are better than just a white wall.
