He doesn't like anything that he himself does not like, regardless if I like it. Ex: I shouldn't go to bars with the girls..because he doesn't.....The only friends I have are people I work with....How do I let him know he's the 1 I want, and it's ok for me to have my live as well as his?

You can't convince a guy of this, because they know how their minds work when it comes to so call going out with friends. There always tend to be temptation, and he don't want you to be confronted with that just like he's trying to avoid it.

If your already having problems like this i sure hate to tell you honey this is only the beginning stages its going to get much worst after your married a few years...Facts are you would be better off making him a Ex-Fiancee...
Unless your bigger than he is then you can just tell him how its going to be...

why doesn't he trust you - or why should he. if he doesn't accept you it may be time to move on
