We have no proof whatsoever that God exists. None. People can say he works in their lives but there's no proof that it was God working through them or them working hard to change things or make them happen.
The "God is coming soon, you'd better give your life to him before it's too late" mentality is scare tactics. I don't know how people can say that with a straight face.
Just be true to yourself as a person, treat others with courtesy and respect, help your fellow man and know that this is our only life, so make it the best it can be, and you'll be ahead of the game.
Man doesn't need to be threatened with eternal damnation nor promised eternal life (which must be spent glorifying God, btw) in order to know what is right and what is wrong in life. I'd rather glorify my own life and that of my family than an unknown entity that has asked his followers to kill in his name.
Maybe it's just me. :-)

The Bible is generally considered by most historians to be the most accurate historical document in existence. No archaeological finding has ever contradicted the Bible, and there are more early manuscripts of the New Testament than any other historical work by a factor of at least ten. The Bible was written by some forty or so different authors across several thousand years' time, yet it retains a cohesiveness that is very difficult to find in any other religious scripture. (Consider passages like Isaiah 53 or Psalm 22 as they relate to the story of the crucifixion, given that there exists a seven hundred year time difference.)
Evidence for God's existence is everywhere. Consider that the mathematical possibility that the universe would end up the way it is out of pure chance is so small as to be effectively zero. Consider that the earth is positioned so precisely at a distance from the sun that a few mile in either direction would fry us or freeze us.
Consider the irreducible complexity of living organisms, i.e. certain traits or body parts that are so interdependent on others that they could not have developed by themselves because alone they would be detrimental to the organism's capacity for survival.
Evidence for God's existence is not hard to find.
Evidence for God's work in changing people's lives is of a different kind than the examples I've mentioned above, but it's no less significant. What would you do if I told you that your wife or girlfriend had recently killed three people with a hacksaw while in a drug-induced rage? You'd tell me I was crazy, that I couldn't be right. You hadn't seen her that night, but I didn't know her like you do, and she wouldn't ever do something like that! That's the kind of evidence people have for God's changing their lives. You might not be able to see it, but that doesn't make it any less real.
You might try reading some of Lee Strobel's books, like "The Case For Christ", or "The Case For Faith". Josh McDowell wrote a good book (short too) called "More Than A Carpenter" that considers some of the same issues that Strobel's books do.
I'd be willing to bet that Christianity is the only religion you'll find that openly tells you to question it, doubt it, and find out answers for yourself.
Try it out. I dare you.

I define happiness as the absence of sorrow. I believe God to be a fairy tale. Religion has only been good for a few things, making money, and crowd control. I've been told many times that "faith" is the way to happiness. Does a horse with blinders on have faith that he's not going to get side-swiped by a mack truck? Did the cave man... apparently the earliest of "God's Children", have faith in god? No one gave you free will amigo, you were born with it. Just like every creature in the animal kingdom. I find myself in truth in happiness because I believe 1 basic ideal. Life is balance. If you're constantly looking at the the glass as half empty, drink the water and be happy you have a glass. The more you look at the world as interdependancy, the sooner you will find comfort in your anonymity.

I have learned over and over again that without God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, there is no hope in the world.
I'd say nature is the greatest proof of God.
If you give your heart to Him, you will experience peace, peace that you cannot find anywhere on earth. However, following God doesn't guarentee you total happiness. Christians have just as many problems as anyone else. It's just that everything is easier to handle when you have God's spirit living in you. We as Christians are however promised eternal happiness. Heaven is perfect. Eternity is closer than you think.
God loves you.

Look I could say a bunch of stuff but in the end you are going to believe what you want to. Personally, I have experienced God. I have a relationship with Him and I like to talk to Him. I love to admire nature and see Gods beauty in it. All you can do is have faith in God and try to have a relationship with Him. All I can do is tell you my personal experience. I have heard Him and felt Him move in my life. He is my best friend and I dont know what I would do without Him. It seems like life would be so meaningless and depressing without Him. I hope that one day you can have what I have. He does want a relationship with you. Just try, what do you have to lose? Talk to Him. I hope it works out. God bless

it truly is an age previous question that shall we or ought to under no circumstances understand even after demise shall we under no circumstances understand. in accordance to technological information, and Athiests, He does no longer exist. in accordance to non secular sorts and individuals with faith, He does exist. in accordance to Agnostics, He ought to or received't exist. yet now decrease back to the starting up, if He does exist, perchance faster or later he will tutor himself or let Himself popular to the individuals, or contained in the Afterlife, because the Doctrine states, if you're good then you definately will be allowed in Heaven even as God lives. in spite of the indisputable fact that it is also plausible that there received't be an Afterlife yet He nevertheless does exist for us to under no circumstances understand in any respect. Then there is also the concept He does lower than no circumstances exist nor does Heaven exist, it truly is the Athiest concept of what God is. For myself in my view, i do not imagine i position self belief in Heaven, as a lot as i'd actual pick to, there is purely no longer some thing in my suggestions which will let me believe that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white gowns and peace for all of a few thing of your placed up existence in the international time. in spite of the indisputable fact that, I do believe there's a God, no longer the God it is in pictures with the white gown, lengthy beard, halo, and each and everything else, yet some sort of larger entity that we do not study and ought to under no circumstances study, yet i believe there must be some thing obtainable it is better useful than some thing else, some entity that in reality in all different words is...God.

What do you feel deep within your heart?
Listen to that still, quiet voice that brings true peace. Seek the answer to this question. What do you hope to find?
