It's never a smart idea to 'screw the crew', as even though it may be fun and you both like each other at the time, it can quickly turn to **** if things don't work out. I've it done myself and watched plenty of fellow collegues do the same, even with those in much more senior positions such as managers and directors! And yes, with little exception they all turned to **** and even resulted in some voluntary resignations.
However, I also know couples who met at the office and are now happlily married! So go figure...
We spend 80% of our lives at work, so I guess it's purely a symptom of this and the lack time we allow ourselves for recreation, relaxation and social interaction on a non-workbased level.
Personally I would advise to resist temptation, as it brought me nothing but added stress and the subject of endless gossip.
Work's work, play's play!!!

A wise person once told me, "Never dip your pen in the company inkwell."

Way too many problems in this.

"fornicating" ? Are you the work gossip?
Why do you care?
Don't you know that many many people find their future spouses at work? I know that's how my parents met!
What is it about it that bothers you so much? are you jealous?

You spend more time at work than you spend anywhere else. Where else are you going to meet people?
