It is nearly impossible to get employment in Kentucky. I never graduated high school and when i realized i messed up, i went back and got my GED. Furthermore, I recently got a surface minning training card. I would like to find a freekin job soon... anywhere. This question is mainly for Kentucky. Do you know where any surface jobs are that hire greenhats?

The problem is to many people are working for temp services and that is where everyone is getting employees from these days. They don't have to give them insurance and they have a base pay. Why would they hire someone full time, when they can get a temp.

I'd say get a technical degree, and move on to Cincinatti or Louisville, if you can't get out of Kentucky altogether.

I don't know of any places hiring greenhats, but UPS is looking for a lot of help. Maybe that'll hold you off until you can find the job you're looking for.
