No he wasn't. Peter Gabriel was in Genesis, not the Eagles.
As for the members of the Eagles, the only members of the Eagles I know are Don Henley and Glenn Frey.

No. He was the lead singer of Genesis before leaving the band leaving Phil Collins to come back from behind the drums and take over with lead vocals.

Peter gabriel was in genisis before phil collins took over (he started as the drummer)
as far as the eagles goes it was don henley, glen frey and joe walsh (but i think he joined later)
