I am going to have to say Acura & Lexus are the best. They don't have the computer issues the Europeans are dealing with and they don't have all the crappy plastic parts that break off all the american cars.
I have a 2004 TSX with 39,200 miles and the only thing I had go wrong was the power door lock actuator failed at around 25K and they fixed it for free. The other nice thing about the Acuras is they all come loaded so you don't get nickeled & dimed for all the "extras". My lease is up in March '07 and unless something drastically changes I'll go back, perhaps for the TL now that they got the bugs worked out.
And if you're gonna go the supercar route I'd say Bugatti Veyron. Supposedly driving at top speed you run out of gas in like 15 minutes.
