Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

Well maybe he likes you. The reason why he might run from you is because he might think that you know that he actually likes you a lot. But if you want to get him, just be really laid back about it and don't make yourself look like a klutz in front of him. If you aren't laid back about this, he might even back off and find another girlfriend. Sorry but i didn't want to hurt your feelings

Ya it could be either or. But I know this guy who likes me and whenever I see him, I avoid him by walking away. (ya i know its mean lol but I can't stand him even though theres nothing really wrong with him). Try leaving him alone for a while and talk to his friends to find out whats up with him.

He may or may not. Depending on whether he's shy or not. If he is, then that explains why he runs away. Does he literally "run" away. You have to get the courage to talk to him.

Well this depends on a few things- your age for one- elementary, middle, and freshies- yes he likes you. Also, if he knows you like him- he may feel the same- but not want to admit it yet. On the other hand- he may not like you- and not want to confront you about it. But he most likely likes you- it is just like guys to avoid the things that scare them- actually liking a girl for example- lol

YUP!!!! Tarik ended up saying that he liked me on March 31st, 2006, and he was ALWAYS shy before that (he's REALLY REALLY quiet, and he's shy around people who he "pretents" to hate, mostly me.). Maybe one day he'll admit that he lieks you, and you can be the happiest preson in the world (like I was that day!!!!!!!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He may just be very shy. Try talking to his friends and ask them what his deal is. This always works because people tell their friends about everything.
