Is there a particular reason as to why the U.S. has not sent rescue but other countries have?
I understand Marines were sent in two or three days ago but yet no evacuations.
Any ideas?

It takes time to move thousands of people when bombs are falling everywhere. Other countries have less people in Lebanon so they can do it with just a few buses. Over 25000 americans are in lebanon.

I'm guessing that the US will send over a Carnival cruise ship for the folks to live on for three months, just like they did during Katrina.
Cut the US government a break, it takes time to get the logistics down.

Hi,, the air port is closed down due to heavy bombing and rocket attacks.. you just cant send in airplanes,,,, they are slow,, and make great targets to shoot at...... for everyone at once....
Will have to let the military get a plan down to keep it safe then evacuate the people.....

I'm watching the news right now and they are sending a big *** cruise ship/helicopters over to rescue he American troops that are trapped. I say **** those countries, only protect us.

Because they are happy in Lebanon ....
Less then 20 % of the 25000 will leave Lebanon

They sent a huge cruise ship in to get them today........I think it's an open bar all the way back to the states! (J/K about the open bar!)

i would certainly advise all americans to leave lebanon, israel, iraq and the entire middle east. american taxpayers help to fund israel which makes them legit targets.
just like saddam giving money to palestinians made him a legit target.
