I am on the birth control shot. I found 2 condoms in his wallet the night before last. We don't use condoms! I know that it isn't evidence of cheating, because they weren't used condoms. But it's in his mind that he might be able to cheat, right? He has them there just in case, right? Am I wrong to be upset that carries these with him?

I would be worried if I were in your shoes. My best friend found condoms in the trunk of her hubby's car, and HE convinced her that they weren't his, but someone he worked with. Later, she found this to be a lie, because she hired someone to follow him and discovered he was cheating on her. They are divorced now.

Alot of men cheat......that's fact. Not all of them do, however, so take heart. If you talk with your husband, and can discuss your concerns with him, only you can determine if you would know the truth from a lie.
Some women can ignore it, because they don't want to lose the security, prestige, or whatever. Or they stay for the children. More often though, women won't put up with cheaters or liars.
Why would you put yourself thru that kind of grief and uncertainty, not knowing if you could trust him again or not.

Kinda depends on the level of your relationship. Think about how you would react if he roooted thru the inner compartments of your purse. Girls do, after all, keep memories in the darkest corners of that little zipper pocket.

In my relationship I give her everything she asks, needs, wants, and everything I have but my wallet is off limits. I give her purse the same respect.

Speaking from experience if they were in his wallet they are probably dry rotted and useless. If you were to find them in his pocket while doing laundry, or tucked in the sun visor of his car you may have some concern.

I'm not answering your question to justify a man keeping condoms in a wallet. I am saying every young guy reaches a certain age where he reaches out for that "right-of-passage" into manhood, and when he gets there he wants to keep the things that got him there. Chances are the condoms are no more than a cover for insecurity.

No, you aren't wrong to be upset, but you do need to find out if there's anything that he's looking for that he's not getting at home. Find out if there's any action that he wants you to perform, before he goes out and find it else where. That's if he hasn't already, and you should be able to tell this from his actions toward you. Are there any actions that are different from what's been going on between you two? Keep your eyes open and pay attention.

Sounds suspicious to me.......my ex and I used to use condoms after my first son and for some strange reason I counted them and some of them were missing. Everyone told me not to worry about it, but later I found out he did cheat. I guess just be glad he uses condoms...at least you won't be at risk for most std's.
