slather a couple times a day with the highest percent of aloe that you can get your hand's on. It speeds up the exfoliation and reproduction of new skin cells. If you need to recuce the reddness for an event or something you can add visine to your hand before spreading the aloe. It really does get the red out, wherever you put it. Even on zit's. You can also put sun block on your burned areas and a 15 or something with a lower level of protection on the non burned areas and get back out in the sun to even it out. This will take very carefull application so you may need help from someone.

It wlil fade on its own..but to help with the pain You can try some of those over the counter sunburn gels something with aloe in it...I dont recommend noxema or vinegar so much...they both sting like heck.

Go in and wash the areas good and then apply a thick layer of moisturizer. Or use something like baby oil, just something that will keep the skin moist. You should see a big difference when you get up in the morning.

Hi,, ok calm down,, the damage has been done,, so now,,,,lets move on.....
Take a hot , as hot as you can stand it, shower.... that helps draw out the heat.. (no kidding)... next get some lotion with Aloe in it.. that will help the burning ,,,,, and keep the skin moist with it... and just give it time...... next time you go out,, use some sun block.....

good luck.....

I prefer to use Solarcaine when I happen to get a bad burn it is a medicated first aid lotion says it relieves sunburn pain fast. I have used it and I think its great, has a nice cool sensation to it.

try something with aloe (like aloe gel or lotion) or banana boat used to have after the sun lotion. the only way to get rid of it is with time. if you are afraid of lines, go get some self tanning lotion and put that on in the areas with no tain/burn.

soak in vinegar in the tub. put about 16 oz. in a reg tub of mildly warm water. that will take the sting out. then put some aloe vera after sun gel on. watch for blisters on your feet.

Aloe is the best for soothing the burn. Zinc oxide if it is really bad. Happy tanning.

It will only go away with time, but you can use Aloe to help the burning feeling and help to keep it from peeling.

Adding white vinegar to bath water will decrease the redness but you can't make it go away. Maybe a self tanner to try and even it out?
