I'm a blond, and I want to to date Ramon who has brown hair, but my pastor says it is wrong because it is miscegenation.
He says that people with different hair colors shouldn't free-mix., and that I am letting down the master race.

Is that true? Will I go to hell?

I can't believe people in this day and age can still hold true to these kind of backwards beliefs.
I don't mean to disrespect your pastor, but I believe that all races should live as one.
I am sure that in your community the feelings of your pastor are very important. And I feel so is free will!
However, I think if it is a short terms romance you should consider ending it, so that you don't get into trouble with your parents and the pastor/community etc.
But if you and Ramon are both of an age to to considering settling down together away from your friends and family. (And you're 100% sure you won't regret it in year to come?)
Then, I have to reassure you that you will not go to hell.
You may even find a 'heaven on earth' in the independence and the ability to live a more tolerant lifestyle.
Hope it goes o.k. for you.

I have no idea where your pastor came from- but it is definitely okay for you to go out with a brown headed kid. And there is no master race- at least not in America. But anyway- don't worry about going to hell for going out with a brown headed kid. It is not immoral. So dont worry.

It's a double standard - you can date whoever you want, as can guys, but as the girl you should immediately dye your hair to match his in order not to offend other people who see the two of you holding hands.

This is why there is such a market for hair dye and conditioners, bought almost exclusively my women - it's not a whim, it's a requirement.

I believe shotintheface was being sarcastic. Apsolutely not. That's rather stupid, actually. My sister has darkish brown hair, and my brother has BLONDEblonde hair. It is not miscegenation, and I can't believe anyone would say that. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know the religious policies about this sort of thing, but speaking from my viewpoint, hair color is a superficial thing. If you love the person, why worry about his hair color?

Hair colour has nothing to do with who you date. And, no it is not a sin to date someone with a different hair colour.
