its the same thing with them and asking directions. they are too proud to say they are wrong. thats basically what it is. a real man will say sorry though. only whimps and jerks wont. well at least thats what i think.

i think that it is just a man thing. I really dont know i mean a lot of men have trouble admitting that they were wrong even when they know that they were. Really i think it has something to do with the way that society veiws the male species i mean men are supposed to be the strong and supportive ones in a family and to say sorry is usually veiwed as weak. See i got me a good one that aint afraid to admitt when he is wrong and aint afraid to say sorry but most men wont that doesnt mean that they aint sorry and u can usually tell when they are because they will find some way to make it up to you.

not all guys are like that. the one i had always says sorry when he know he did something wrong. guys think about it but are just scared to say it. they might think they are a punk or somthing if they say it or weak and if girl know they messed up, they are becoming less of a man just not by saying sorry. But hey you also have to be careful with the ones that say sorry to much.

That's a people thing, not a guy thing...some women have trouble with it too...and some guys and gals are quick to apologize...
It boils down to people generally not liking to admit they were wrong...and saying "I'm sorry" is taking the blame for something negative that has occured (unless you are just expressing sympathy for someone's plight)...
It takes a big person to admit fault, and apologize...and an even bigger one to try to right the wrong if possible...

I never said sorry ...refused to. Admitting your wrong is weakness even if you are wrong...Its not a guy thing girls do the same. Its a powerthing. You'll find some tuff ceo women are like that.
Then I worked for ATT phone service for a summeer and they forced me to say "i'm sorry" for every little thing to the coustomers.
"oops I'm sorry I couldn't find that listing" or " I'm sorry you couldn't hear me because your calling from a cell phone in a tunel." I didn't like it but then I got used to it now I say it like automatically.....
I've learned that saying your sorry in most cases is productive.

How do you know that he believes he was wrong? He may think that he was in the right. Not trying to take sides here, just presenting a possibility.

If you get the answer to this please let me know :o)...its always bothered me.....Ive known many guys who did something wrong and knew they did something wrong but the minute they would notice me getting upset they would try to turn the tables and get mad at me....its horrible...if you know you did something wrong at least have the balls to admit it and apologize...god knows Ive apologized many times and knew what i did was wrong...guys need to grow a set of balls.

I have found that guys do admit when they are wrong. Everyone had a hard time admitting that they are a dumb-*** sometimes.
