If you've been using the same cleanser and moisturizer for awhile, maybe that is exactly it. Your skin will get used to a product and build up immunities so it no longer has the desired effect. Or it could just be that you are using the wrong product altogether. I have problem skin and I use good ole noxzema in the jar at nighttime when I go to bed. And then in the shower I keep a noxzema citrus scrub that I use when I wake up and shower in the morning. My skin looks the best it has ever looked!
If you try switching products and that does not help, it may be something else triggering it such as your pillowcase. Make sure to wash it regularly. If that doesn't help, make sure it is not the detergent that is causing the breakouts in the first place. Switch detergents for a little while.
Good luck!

Facial cleaners are not one size fits all. You should try something specifically for problem skin and use a very light oil-free moisturizer. There are good products in the drugstores that are priced reasonably or if you want to spend the money go to a spa they do facials so they would know what you should try. Age doesn't matter people can get pimples when they're 65.

Drink lots of water and try University Medical Acne Free. It's not really expensive ($20) and available at Walmart, Longs, and Sam's Club. Try using an oil free, non-codmogenic moisturizer. The products you're using now, might be clogging the pores. Remember the skin and body change. What you're using now might not be right for you anymore.

I'm 32 and I still get them too, especially when I'm getting my period. Adult acne is usually different from adolescent acne, so if you're still using the same products you used back then, they may not be as effective as they used to be.
See a dermatologist to find out what products are best for you.
I also try to drink a lot of water and eat healthy. It helps.

You can go to your doctor and ask about it. She might be able to prescribe something. And Proactive isn't as great as everyone says. Did you know Diddy got mad at Proactiv because Proactive made his acne worse? He is just a spokesperson for the money.

I know this may sound weird, but I use EGG WHITE.If you take the EGG WHITE and put it on your face like a mask for 15mins it will clear your pimples in 7 days. I will make your face really tight when it starts to dry but it really works. I also use tooth paste, just put it on your pimples overnight and it drys them out.

Pro Active. I am 45 and still had pimples. Finally I tried it and I've finally cleared up. Note: my daughter has teenager acne and it didn't work on hers one bit!
