I'm just reading so many questions here about how to get rid of this or that, or what do guys like...i say, enough! What about what WE like? Is that little voice inside of us being silenced by the media/society/what? Or we've gotten to the point where we believe it doesn't matter what we want, it's all about what others want, expect and demand?...your thoughts?

It is so easy and so hard at the same time. Self confidence. No woman I know can achieve that. And I have many, many female friends. What kind of a visa is expiring? I am from Santa Fe, 36 years here.

It has taken me a long time accept who I am. I have surrounded myself with people who accept me for who I am and every flaw that comes with me. Society has wrecked the ideal vision of a woman. She apparently has to be a size 2, have a higher education, dress in reveling clothes, and know about sports. I am none of that, and I do not care. I am who I am and my husband, son and my friend like who I am. Just like I like who they are or they would not be my friends. Stop following society and start following YOU!!

Stop blaming guys for things girls do to compete against each other. You do things because you want to do it. It's a fact that girls check out each other and talk about each other's looks more than guys do. So what you can do is stop talking about each other everytime you turn your backs to each other. Trust me, guys will love women no matter how you present yourselves. They don't have a choice. Other women, however, will always find a way to B**ch about each other.

I believe ur right. society has molded girls into the plastic unreal form of barbie, that isn't self based but focused on the opinion of man. i think girls need to believe in them self and love themselves before they try to make them selves lovable to others. its important to not forgot who u are when making ur changes whether it be physical or mental always remember who u are and what u want off of any situation

How people perceive you is not the issue .
If you have integrity and a sense of humour.
You will be at peace within yourself and your beauty will shine from within.

Take care!

well for me, i dont care what others think. i am who i am, why try to be somebody else? i like what i like no matter what people think. its better to not care what others think and be who you are. thats what matters. i dont think others should be pressured to do things we dont want. we should just follow our gut and be confident with who we are.
