I have devised a way to produce electricity that has not been done.I need to procure funding to finish the research and develop it through the government.I would be glad to work with a college if need be.I've sat on this for many years and almost got killed over it in the late 80's.I am not educated in matters such as these, and I need a learned partner. This will change the way electricity is peoduced, and I will gladly share its benefits with someone who will help me make it happen.I've waited for the right time, and I believe that time is now. This is my starting point.Notes and logs will be kept to preserve the integrity of events. That is to include every answer given to me on this question.Future questions may be directed at engineers, but your input will be appreciated.Right now,I'm trying to get started on bringing it into existance. Thanks!

Hmm,maybe I made a mistake in thinking I might actually find intelligent people and support here.FYI this technology is already in place, only not in this form.So it does work, and it is new.If you are not out to help, then please keep your rhetoric to yourselves?I've already got 2 dingy women with airhead answers, and one scholar who doesnt believe in the existance of new things.I remember now why I quit messing with this site.Too many children...

To apply for federal grants, go to Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov . They have everything you need to apply for grants.

The first step is to register with Grants.gov and their registration process can be accessed from http://www.grants.gov/assets/ebizregchec...

1. Get a Data Universal Number System (DUNS) Number
2. Register with Central Contractor Registry (CCR)
3. Authorize your Organization's Representatives
4. Login as an E-Business Point of Contact (POC)

You will first be asked to find the grant number of the grant that you wish to apply for. You can get this from the Catalog of Domestic Assistant http://www.cfda.gov which is the federal database of all grants.

Here are some websites that can help you write a grant proposal, as well as associations where you can find grant resources and listings of grant professionals that you can hire to help put together a grant proposal for you

Your best bet is probably to team up with a university or government Dept.l of Energy Lab like Sandia or NREL and go after an SBIR or STTR grant from DOE.

You can apply for an SBIR grant by yourself (you'll need to incorporate though) but a university or laboratory partner will add a great deal of credibility to your proposal. If you can't find anyone to work with you, there's probably something technical you've overlooked that they don't think is easily solved.

You can learn more about the SBIR program from the small business administration http://www.sba.gov/ they also have business start-up assistance and loan programs.

Also be sure to check out what your state has to offer. In Washington State for example, the Washington Trade Center has a technology grant program and also helps match up folks like yourself with industry and academic representative who can help you.

i hope you weren't referring to nick n as a "scholar"...

good luck to you... looks like the forms have already been posted. post the technology back here soon and we'll have a look at it (those govt boards are full of bastards that will pick you apart for any little error). thankfully the DOE just got a bit of monetary help from the US taxpayer.

You tell me your idea and I'll help you make it happen. No offense but I doubt you have a revolutionary idea. Again not to be mean but many ideas that were once thought to be great were shot down because something simple was overlooked.
