How do you deal with a man that thinks he is always right even thought other people tell him he is wrong. He is very hard headed and I need some ideas of how to deal with that...

MY BROTHER IN LAW IS THE SAME WAY! I DONT KNOW HOW MY SISTER PUTS UP WITH HIM, BUT THEN I REALIZE THAT ITS BECAUSE MY SISTER LOVES HIM! ITS HARD TO PUT UP WITH MAN LIKE THAT BUT ASK YOURSELF ARE U WILLIN TO PUT UP WITH HIM FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE OR ARE YOU GONNA LET HIM GO! ASK YOURSELF DO YOU LOVE HIM? IF YES U ALSO HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT SOMETIMES YOU CANT CHANGE THE WAY OTHER PEOPLE ARE EVEN THOUGH YOU WANT TOO! I KNOW ITS GOING TO BE HARD FOR YOU TO DEAL WITH IT BECAUSE MAN LIKE THAT ARE TRUOBLE AND YES U MIGHT HAVE ARGUEMENTS BUT STILL ASK YOUSELF DO U REALLY LOVE HIM.. JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART NOT YOUR MIND BECAUSE YOUR MIND SEEMS TO TRICK YOU A LOT JUST LISTIN TO YOUR HEART AND YOU'LL FIND THE ANSWER IN YOU!

You can't do anything he won't change and I know from personal experiences from 6 years of dealing with someone like this you just have to support the good in him and he will (someday) see that what he always thought isn't what was always right.
Unfortunatley there are some people who think that their views are the only right views and don't understand others because of this but someday he will say that maybe he was wrong.

I guess the best way is let him have his way. Let him think that he is right. He will find out one day is he wrong and has been wrong all the while. He will find out the answer the hard way. Its the only way he will learn. There is no point trying to tell him he is wrong when He thinks he is ALWAYS right. Don't waste your time. Not on HIM

You should try and realize that the easy part of dealing with his hard head is over. Dealing with someone hard headed problems will continually make life a living challenge. He is hard headed, and nothing you do can set him free. He cant set you free.

Girl i feel your pain i am in that same situation myself. I found out that there is no way in hell you can convince them that they are wrong. They have it already sit in their heads that no matter what you say, you are not right, You can have darn proof and it would not make any difference in the situation. You just have to let them think they are right all the time. As long as you know that you are Right it does not matter. If you keep on fighting with them all it is going to do is tired you out.

PRAY!!! And I am really serious. Some things you cannot change and definitely you cannot change PEOPLE! Just pray for change and do something different...instead of arguing with him, which apparently he enjoys, just go along with him. HE will expect different. YOU KNOW what is right and wrong. HE enjoys the attention. Don't give it to him. Just pray silently that he will be more agreeable and approachable and see his wrongs. We all are headstrong about something....

Use "I feel" statements - they are harder to disagree with, since you can't help the way you feel.
Be very polite. Try "I feel like you aren't listening to me" or "I feel like you're only considering one side of the problem, because..."
If all else fails, just say "I disagree, but I can see your point." That will make him feel validated while getting your point across.

im not an adult but i can tell you that. some men think they are always right and it aint nothing can be said or done to change them. people are just like that and theres not you can do but ignore him and act like nothing was said.

ask him which would he prefer: to be happy or to be right. if he prefers to be right then you'll know your cue:leave!! there will never be any harmony or peace in the relationship. if he's not part of the solution, he's part of the problem. understand that you can change anyone unless they wish to do so!!!!!
