Australians have a national costume - people always say that it's a swaggie outfit. What is Hong Kong's? Thnx

I need to know what Hong Kong's national costume is because I am doing a school assignment on it,.. v. important! THANKS SO MUCH!!

In Australia we have several national costumes...

if you were to ask a Jack/jill/aroo, Ringer, or other Station Hand she or he would tell you that the national costume is an Akubra hat, a button front shirt, blue jeans or moleskin jeans, and riding boots.

If you asked a shearer, wool presser, or rouseabout he or she might tell you it is a Jackie Howe Singlet ( a blue singlet with a reinforced panel and named after the record holding shearer Jackie Howe.) and dungarees and work boots.

If you ask a surfer he/she will tell you that a pair of boardies and a pair of thongs (flip flops for our NZer friends) and a bikin top for the girls is what is our national dress.

A died in the wool Westie from the western suburbs of sydney would tell you that Ugg Boots, Jeans and Flanelette shirt are the National Dress

As for Hong Kong .. Sorry I havent a clue..

i like Hong Kong! A city with various custom and vibe, a mixture of Asian and Western cultures. captivating atmosphere surrounding the city, remarkable neon lights and various cool homes (2 IFC as an occasion).
