I think it can go either way. It depends on the things you have seen and done earlier in your life. Than again, let's not forget that as get older, the rest of the world gets more modern and thus we become conservative not really because we are not open minded and liberal, but rather because we are accustomed to how things were when we were younger. For example...my grandfather was a big radical in his time! He listened to Elvis Presley. Back then he was a rebel for listening to that kind of music...nowadays, we don't even blink an eye when an Elvis song comes on the radio. So it's not that my grandfather is a conservative for thinking that Elvis Presley is radical musical, it's just that he was raised in different times and thus his experiences are different than the ones people my generation have!
I hope I make sense!

I have always been a Liberal although I was not aware of it until I was about 17 or so. And I am still that Liberal. Occasionally I can see the Conservative view and agree with it but most of the time I am the same Liberal I've always been.In fact since the religious right has tried to take over this country I have gone from a moderate Liberal to the left.

More. But I have always been a conservative, even as a child. I just didn't know it until later. And I get more conservative as I get older.

You didnt say if you meant politically, socially, or what.

Politically, the word has come to mean the opposite of what it means in every day conversation. Starting a war based on unconfirmed suspicion, running up huge debts, ruining the environment... these things are the hallmark of the political conservatives, but they hardly seem like cautious, prudent courses of action to me!

Definitely more liberal! I was a reagonite and supported George B. Senior. However this current regime has shifted me to the left.

Our founding fathers are turning over in their graves because of the actions of the current president.

More conservative. At least since the illegal immigration issue is concerned. I cannot believe that Bush has turned his back on the American people by doing nothing.
