You've probably got another couple of years or so, although growth may slow down toward the end of the growing period...alas, you cannot make yourself shorter...be happy with your height, especially since it's not something you can do a lot about...there are benefits to being tall *smiles*

I believe females stop growing by 18 on average but I stopped at 12 or 13. Guys more often grow until 21. I've read this over the years, but I can't site a source.

Probably a little more until you're at least 18. Watch what you ask for. Trust me, if you were shorter like I am, you would want to be taller. I haven't grown an inch since I was about 13 or 14. I don't really want to be taller, it just would be nice to not have to pay a fortune for nice petite clothes or cut off 3-5 inches of pants and skirts to make them the right length. Be happy with who you are.

i don't know at what age we stop growing, but i just thought you should know that it has been proven taller people make better money than there shorter counterpart doing the same job. also, the taller people get to the top of the corporate lader faster with less effort. what a lucky person you are, some day you will be thankful.

Its not the age that makes the person stop growing. Its the puberty.
Your body can grow and change up to a year after your first period.

I bet you will stop soon Most girls stop sooner than boys. My wife stooped at 14 and has never grown another inch.

Don't worry you'll appreciate your body when you get older, but I think women stop growing at 21? Not too sure.

I know how you feel. When I was your age i was 5'8". I grew another inch then stopped. Try and be proud of being tall. It is a great thing.
