Why is this always overlooked in the history books? It's honestly disappointing. Oskar Schindler did indeed have a child be the name of Gary Schindler. Gary Schindler later gave rise to 2 children by the names of Eric and James Schindler. Eric has 2 children by the name of Reese and McKay. James has 2 children by the name of Matthew and Jennifer.

Not to brag or show off, but I'm Matthew and Oskar Schindler happens to be my Great-Grandfather. I think it would only be proper to include in the history books that Oskar Schindler's Bloodline does live on today.

Well, it goes to relevance. He was a man that did a great thing but his child or family is of little or no importance to what made him great or his story as the rest of the world views it.

Please do not be sad or disturbed about this. It's actually a very good thing that you and your family can live your lives in relative obscurity without being harrassed by the lunatics and nuts in the world.

I thank you for your Grandfather's actions. He had more courage than most men could ever dream of having.

I had no idea that Oskar Schindler had a child. I have never seen his name mentioned in a history book. I am a great admirer of Oskar and Emilie, and you must be extremely proud of them.

I've never read Schindler's list, but I have read Schindler's legacy. I don't recall learning of a child in there, either. How sad.
