Doctors are very busy.
You need to focus on the office managers at each office/hospital.

It will take some investment to make some investment. The key is to offer them something, but to make your billing business seem like it will help them, not eliminate their job. There is a fine line.

They get mail and throw it away. If you only want local customers, you need to go door to door. I would NOT go door to door in person because all of the pharmacutical reps.

I would send something to each office manager...maybe a paper weight or mouse or something for them to use in their office. Also invest in a single flower or small arrangement for the office reception area.

The note simply says...please call me for.....and I will follow-up (and set a date) If they don't call you, you have an "in." Did you get my flowers and mouse pad?

Go from there...if you can get an in-office visit on their schedule..you are golden.

Good Luck.

Think about what your clients do. Where do they go? What do they read? What do they watch on TV? You have know how, when, and where to get their attention.

You could also approach them direct with a professional mailing, or even a phone call to see if they'd meet with you to discuss the service you provide.

How about advertising? Or going from door to door among the doctors in your area and leaving each a business card? How about mailing each doctor or clinic a letter telling them about your business? Have you tried any of these approaches?
