What a strange question, I prefer to have my temperature taken orally but if you are going for accuracy rectally is the way to go.

oral and rectal thermometers are a thing of the past mate, they use one that goes in your ear now and reads the temperature off of your ear drum, rectal is seen as too invasive and oral too dangerous because of the mercury content.

ORAL!!!!!
Cause to take your temperatture, you have to stay still a while for the termometer to read, and, of course it is not fine to stay naked with a stick stuck in your butt!!!
But, there is another kind, much better than the oral, wich goes into your ear, and takes your temperature in a flash!

What about having your temperature taken by the thermometers that go in your ear? I like those!

Ear thermometers. It's fast, safe and clean. Also, you could be sleeping while your temperature is being taken. (^.^)
