Everyone feels this way at times... it just means you are human, with all the human insecurities that go with it.
On my first day of law school, the Dean made a speech to all the new students. He said, "Every one of you is sitting there right now shaking in your shoes, certain you are the only one in this auditorium who somehow got admitted to this law school by accident and doesn't really belong here, and terrified of the day that someone exposes you for the fraud you really are." He was joking with us, of course, but he was right!
You're just as good, mistakes and all, as any other person on the planet. People will only make you feel like an idiot if YOU give them the power to do so by believing that your self-worth arises from other people's opinions. It doesn't. Really.

We all have those moments. I am taking college classes after taking eight years off between school and now. I feel stupid all the time. You get over it though. The best way to deal with it is to educate yourself on a lot of things, and summer is the best time to get started. Pick topics and grab books from the library. Surf the net. Take some classes. You'll feel a lot better about yourself in no time.
