I have been blessed so far to live a decent life, but we all have regret of some kind. I do regret going to talk to someone about something that I thought we both could understand and vent about. That put a little damper in our "family type" relationship. I thought we were close enough to talk, but....I guess not.
There are a couple of things I wish I had done now that my husband passed away 13 years ago. NOTHING BAD. WE HAD A GREAT MARRIAGE. BUT I wanted to do a few more things with him that we didn't get to do, waiting for that perfect moment....there are no perfect anything.

Most definitely. My parents had very meager incomes and worked hard to send me to college. I squandered it. I was very smart in high school and my first year in college had an A average. Being away from home for the first time got the best of me and I began neglecting my studies and eventually fathered a child. After dropping out I never completed my degree. They did not deserve that. They are dead and gone now and they never once said anything about how I let them down. I have still made a good life for myself but I know they wanted me to have done better and have the best. At that time neither of them had gone past the third grade. My mother, however got her high school diploma at the age of 56...a year before she died.

I grew up on a farm and had horses. I loved them and riding them. If I could I would be doing that now.

I loved slopping around in the woods and the creek........oops still doooooooo.

I loved being a kid....can't do it now, ....... shoot I can't even act like one to recapture the feeling because at my age people would think I were going senile.................................
I have done and said things to people in the past that I regret. Things that can't be changed and things I know hurt the ones involved. I regret it much.
