it depends on what you want to watch a comedy i would say rent the movie Life,its old but funny, if you want a romance watch Love jones or love and basketball, if you want more of a drama watch cinderella man or cooley high all great movies.

I liked "Crash"...lots of action about inner city life that are all related.
Also you may try "The hills have eyes" for a scare....
