Under a rock someplace!

Actually I think the Democrat party has been infiltrated and taken over by the far left wing liberals. Its just like Iraq. People want to have their lives but you have these terrorist that keep wanting to take over. I hope the Democrats will one day be able to shake those slugs and get back to a party of decent working people with ideals.

The Democratic Party has been so successful in improving our lives, that sometimes people forget what we have accomplished that makes life better.

The Democratic Party members are the people who brought you a minimum wage and the promise of prevailing local wages, 8-hour workday in a safe environment, unemployment benefits, and workers compensation when things go wrong.

The Democratic programs of the Federal Home Loan Program, Water Quality Act, and Rural Electrification Act brought ownership of a home with utilities within reach of most of us.

Democrats awarded veterans G. I. student benefits, home loans, and health care they so richly deserve.

Democrats created plans, such as Head Start, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Guaranteed Student Loan Program have helped us raise and educate our children.

Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Securities and Exchange Act help us enjoy a secure old age.

Democrats brought many of us our very right to vote in the Women’s Suffrage Amendment and Voting Rights Act of 1965.
We must continue to fight groups who are trying to destroy all of these benefits that we take for granted now.

It looks like far too many of them have gone on the System, and the same system as George W. Bush and the Republicans. I find them almost indistinguishable from the Republicans. They seem to be blending in well with them, and that is why people sometimes cannot tell them apart. As has been mentioned before in these answers, too many of them are far too rich. They appear to be hypocritical. The Democratic party appears to have fallen short of the ideals of its Populist party predecessors. Note John Kerry's combination of old money and nouveau richissime. He has a notable military past. It seems like they are required to take up liberal and underdog causes "in exchange" or compensation for what they are "taking" (i.e. robbing). To many of them are "stonecutters", or Freemasons, or groups with similar and compatible ideologies falling under the same umbrella.

You can see that it is six of one and a half a dozen of the other. Officially a choice exits. Unofficially it really does not.

Outstanding question. Where DID it go? There was Roosevelt, then Truman. Kennedy and Johnson. Then... nothing. Carter was a pariah in his own party, and who knows what Clinton was.

Dems, tt'd be nice if you could all get together long enough to at least nominate a decent candidate in 2008. Not Howard Dean. Not John Kerry (why in heaven's name would you nominate him again when he already lost to someone in the running for worst president of the past 100 years?). Not Hillary. Not that lame John Edwards. Can't you guys find SOMEBODY worth voting for? This Republican is begging you!

It's waiting for the next election. After which the impeachment hearings will begin.

You see, Democrats love Americans and they love Democracy. The other party........well read the papers.

They're most interested in what happens in my bedroom, rather than what's happening in the Board Room.

They are in underground secret meetings, discussing whether or not the American people are aware that they hate Bush with a rabid, mouth-foaming irrationality and whether or not they should mention it again.

They're also voting on which Democrat to cruficy and abandon next.

Thay joined forces with Republicans and became supercountry!, stripping away human rights and favoring the rich. The initial "pick a side" idea has become blurred with the advent of uber-capitalism and the idea of "truth and justice for me".

They are hiding....trying to decide which useless candidate who won't win in '08. I hope they pick someone better than the last 2. I think they need to find someone new to rejuvenate the party.
