there's an old saying...
90% of people masturbate and the other 10% lie about it.
it's natural. in this day of STD's and HIV/AIDS, it's also the safest. it's minimally possible to desensitize yourself a little bit if you use a vibrator on a regular basis, and it's minimally possible to become psychologically addicted. so...pretty much, as long as you're not masturbating every waking moment of the day you'll be fine

Just masturbating does not cause problems. Spending an excess amount of time could affect your life in other ways, but not related to masturbation. Just don't physically hurt yourself in the act.

A doctor knows if you masturbate before he ever sees you, just based on the fact that most teenagers masturbate. However, there are no physical signs that you masturbate.

No, of course it can't! And no there is no way a doctor can tell whether you masturbate or not. Mind you, even if there was a way, I reckon the doctor would think that you were a little strange if you didn't masturbate! It's natural, we all do it!
