I was wondering how I get an entry-level job, because I have never worked and don't have a resume? Also is there any way I can get a writing job if I don't have a resume and have never worked? Are there any good free sites where I can register and apply to different jobs online? Thank you.

Without job experience, finding a job online is probably close to impossible. For an entry level job, you don't need a resume, just go to the company and fill out an application. Be prepared to list your skills and anything useful, like your GPA, volunteer work, etc.

Your odds are also better for getting the job if you do a walk-in, because appearance matters, so if you go in clean and neat and professional, that first impression will help you.

I make my living writing and every writer has their first paid job at some point, but usually you do have some experience behind you. Things like the school paper, writing contests or even a blog can help. I got my first writing job after being noticed on the message boards on AOL! (my content caught their eye). So put together a portfolio of anything you have done that can serve as samples.

Also the vast majority of writing jobs require a degree in journalism. There are exceptions, but they are rare if you don't have expertise in some area.

www.craigslist.org (once there, find your city on the right and click it) has both employment listings AND gigs. Writing gigs are less formal and sometimes unpaid (for new websites, etc.). A gig will help you build your portfolio and gain some notice.

Good luck.

Oh..and the person above is dead wrong NEVER LIE on your application or resume. At the entry level, few may check but beyond that, and for anything requiring a minimum of years of experience and/or a degree, most employers DO check. Many are also requiring drug tests and/or criminal and credit checks.
Screw up once and it may haunt you for years!

Just lie on your application and make a fake resume. That's how millions of people get their jobs. I've lied on every application I've ever filled out. They don't check your background unless you're applying for a government job.
