ok so my best friend called me fri to tell me that she is pregnant again, she has a son that is 3, the guy she is sleeping with is homeless (eeeww, what a looser) the father of her son is not around at all, nor was he ever (i helped raise her kid...i was his nanny for the first 2 years of his life, he even started callin ME mommy, it got too creepy so i just couldnt do it any more). but im angry at her because she is very irresponsible (in my opinion) how are u just gonna get knocked up by some bum, and she has already decided to get an abortion (i agree with her there, but dont u think that she should have thought about BIRTH CONTROL????). i hope that she doesnt decide to keep this baby. how smart is that to have a baby with someone that is homeless, someone that is a junkie, someone that cant help in any way shape or form.....aaarrrrggggggg im just so bothered by that.
ok but do you think that im a bad person for thinking that she is STUPID for letting herself get knocked up?

we were BEST FRIENDS that would do everything together, but now i think someone just smacked her with a stupid stick, i dont even want to be around her much anymore just cuz i think that she is makig some very stupid decisions...

the only thing that she does right is work for her son, she works 40+ hours a week for him, to not be taken care of by the government, so i give her that much.

the way i see it is you can think she is stupid...but you have to be wiling to TELL Her she is...if you arent telling her an trying to get her to not do something equally dumb again then you are not really a friend.

Everyone makes bad choices once in a while. Sleeping with a homeless person does not make her a bad person or a good person. It's her life and her choice. She should of used a condom or take birth control pills if she didn't want to get pregnant in the first place. Since you are her friend, you'll have to accept her for what she did. It's too late to go back in time.

This woman is self destructive. She thinks she is a horrible person and she's doing everything she can to prove it. She has a very serious mental health problem for which she needs PROFESSIONAL help. YOU CANNOT SAVE HER. If she does not get the help she needs she will do everything she can to ruin herself and she will drag everyone close to her down with her.
You can help her best by urging her to get help. If she refuses then there is nothing you can do. She must WANT to improve her life.
You do not have to abandon her. Let her know that you will help her in any way you can but don't take her problems upon yourself. Sometimes people have to hit rock bottom before they can see that they need to improve their lives.
You might want to get a little counseling yourself so you can feel better about yourself and to help you to know how to BEST relate to your friend.

i dont think your a bad person. some people can get pregnant 50 times, and not want the baby, or do it to get money from governement, then theres the people who have dreamed of having babies their whole life, and cant concieve. she need to take responsibility for her actions. you should however tell her how you feel. let her know that your not going to raise this baby for her should she keep it. but let her know that your still her friend.

I think you have every right to be angry. If she is dating a guy like that she is probably not much better herself. She is probably a drain on society and the tax system. I would not be surprised if she is on welfare, food stamps, AFDC, and anything else the govt offers! So yes, when people like that keep breeding we all have a right to be mad!
