I am pretty sure that I ovulated on the 5th of July. I was too impatient and did a test 10 days later (One of those ones that you can do five days before your missed period). It was negative. Is it at all possible that the test was wrong? I have read so many sites that tell you that implantation happens 6-10 days after you ovulate if you conceive. In my case if I did conceive then the hormone would have shown up by the 10 day. IS this correct?

It's not going to happen if you keep on thinking about it and worrying. Believe me, Just let it happen and stop trying to make it happen.

I got a positive 8 days before my missed period with this pregnancy. With my first I didn't get a positive until two days after my missed period. I'm impatient as well..unfortunatly sometimes you have to wait till the hormone levels are high enough to be picked up by a home preg test. Good luck!

It does take 6 to 10 days to implant and then another 24 to 48 hours for the hcg hormone that detects pregancy to show up in your urine. So if it took all 10 days for implantation you should wait another two days to test. Good Luck!

You can either test again in a couple of days or see a doctor. Sometimes, the home-pregnancy tests are wrong. One brand told me that I wasn't pregnant and another one said I was pregnant. I didn't know what to believe, so I saw a doctor.

are you displaying any other symptoms of pregnancy or do you feel pretty normal?

Rather than retake the test wait til your period is due again, if it doesn't show up then take it or go see a doctor and let him tell you one way or the other for sure.
Just because you have sex during ovulation doesn't garuntee you will get pregnant.

that's way too early to test. You need to wait at least 15 days after you ovulate...trust me

These tests are more accurate these days then they ever were. If it suggest you are NOT pregnant, then chances are, you're not. However, should you develop symptoms of a pregnancy, then consult your Dr.

The easiest way to settle the issue is to retest.
