My dad went to Columbia University and he worked really hard. He even got a free 3 year scholarship to it. Your GPA is good enoguh to get in but Columbia rejects lots of ppl with good GPAs. Your SAT score has to be atleast 1400 or greater based on the old SAT. You have to take a few AP or IB exams and get 4 or 5s on the scoring. You should be invovled in extra curricular programs, sports, drama, or band/orchestra, and you also need to explain how you changed something in your community. I'm trying to go to Columbia myself and that's what my dad says I need to do to get in. Good luck!
