The number of galaxies has been determined by the distant light has traveled in fifteen billions years. I don't know if they have been mapped accurately.

the number has not been established and continues to get larger as astronomers use the hubble. 10x10>100 is not an unrealistic start and may be even just a small amount as the universe seems to be continuously getting larger and galaxies more numerous.

There have been less than a million surveyed galaxies, but they estimate millions or billions.
